These guys are the best around, period. We moved to the area about three years ago and began seeing them on a recommendation from our dog food provider. We actually moved this year and would rather drive the 45 minutes to see both Doctor Leathers' than switch vets! They've gotten our pups through allergies, torn ACLs, cancer, and a whole assortment of other ailments. The vet techs are phenomenal and so kind to our boys, and both Valerie and Clay Leathers are always willing to take the extra time to explain procedures, options, or post-op instructions. They are well-informed and are committed to staying up-to-date on current procedures and practices. The more we see them (which is a lot with our two disaster dogs) the more impressed I am. They've made us customers for life!
We highly recommend Dr. Leathers and the staff at New Hope Animal Hosp. We have been taking our 3 dogs to Dr. Leathers for several years for annual check-ups, dental care, snake-bite intervention, orthopedic and cancer surgeries. We appreciate Dr. Leathers honest, straight forward approach. He provides info on all care approaches, answers questions thoroughly and allows us time to make to make the decisions we feel are best for our pets. The pricing is fair and appropriate for the care provided. We plan to be customers at New Hope Animal Hospital for as long as Dr. Leathers keeps the doors open!!
Hey everyone at New Hope Animal Hospital. Even though I texted Kelly to thank everyone for the very nice and thoughtful sympathy card for Coco's passing, I wanted to tell you all (in hopes you read this) and everyone else reading your reviews, of how much that meant to Mark and I. It was such a nice surprise to receive the card with everyone's signature including all the doctors'. We miss Coco so much. We know that with each visit you all are so kind, compassionate and patient and we will continue to patronize your office with Mr. Buddy! Thank you all so, so much for your heartfelt thoughts. Mark and Patty (In case you don't know who this is, I couldn't use my original gmail account because it wouldn't allow me to post another review with the original account.) I am there with another post of when we started out with Dr. Leathers when he and Dr. Daniels were at Villa Rica Animal Hospital. That was out of the way for us but we travelled the extra miles just to visit their office. When Dr. Leathers purchased his own business we followed and never looked back! THANK YOU Dr. Leathers!
I just hope I come across as genuine. They are truly the nicest people who work there and the doctors, Drs. Leather (Mr. & Mrs.) are genuinely caring and loving to the animals. They are very patient with them and us OWNERS!! We can be a bit demanding and obnoxious as our pets are very anxious. So to make them more at ease they are very patient and gentle with us! They are very heartwarming. Both doctors will take the time with you and your pets to answer questions and explain everything even if it is over and over! Trust me, I know! Their technicians are, too, very loving and patient with the pets. My husband and I have known Dr. Leathers, Kelly, Stephanie and Stacy for many years when they were at another Vet hospital. We follow them to Dr. Leather's practice. We actually look forward to the visits. Now who can say that about a visit to a doctor's office?
Vet visits don't have to be unpleasant, and New Hope proves that! My puppy and two kitties have all received great care here. They were very accommodating when our pup needed to come in for an emergency visit, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend bringing your fur babies to New Hope - they'll be treated wonderfully!
